Successfully represented estates of decedents killed in single car accidents: one against PennDOT for highway conditions, one against PECO relating to placement or maintenance of its poles, one involving the “phantom driver” responsible for forcing the decedent’s vehicle off the road.

Successfully resolved claims of the family of a brain-injured patient who was permitted by his long-term care facility to self-medicate and who committed suicide by self-inflicted overdose.

One day before jury selection, successfully resolved claims of a motorist who was rear-ended in a low impact collision but who suffered significant injuries relating to double-vision syndrome and vertebral artery dissection (a shredding of the wall of the vertebral artery which brings needed blood to the brain, leading to the formation of an aneurysm that may occlude, or obstruct, the path of the artery vessel) which put the motorist at significant risk in the event of another accident.

Defended furnace distributor in products liability action in which plastics warehouse valued at $4 million burned down, and had case dismissed for discovery sanctions for plaintiff’s failure to timely produce its expert report, as affirmed with opinion in the Pennsylvania Superior Court at Croydon Plastics Co. v. Lower Bucks Cooling & Heating 698 A.2d 625 (Pa. Super. 1997).

Obtained jury verdict in Philadelphia County for medical malpractice plaintiff against internist in case involving plaintiff’s treatment as HIV-positive for over a year based upon incorrectly reported department of health test where plaintiff actually was HIV-negative.

Obtained jury verdict in Montgomery County for medical malpractice plaintiff against urologist who improperly catheterized plaintiff during post-bladder cancer treatment causing partial loss of prostate and other significant complications.
